Easter 2009

Easter was great this year! Both boys were excited to color and eggs and were very excited about the fun things that the Easter Bunny brought them. We were also lucky to have Grandma Carryn here to celebrate with us.

Easter with the Diamondbacks

A special treat that the Easter Bunny brought us, was a ticket for each of us and Grandma Carryn to see our first Diamondbacks game as a family. We had a great time! I haven't been to a game since before I had Carter, so it was great to see how family friendly it was. Upon entering the park each of the boys got a fun sandbox set, we got to give Baxter a high five, we joined the "No Chew Crew" and got free t-shirts and free tickets for the kids for every Sunday for the rest of the season, we played at the little park there, and the kids ran the bases after the game. Of course, we did catch a little of the game and had some cotton candy! I was so impressed with how well the boys did for the first few innings, they were very attentive and interested in what was going on. It was a great day and a wonderful experience to share with my boys!
